“The beautiful thing about learning is that no one can take it away from you.”
Ce qui est beau dans ce que l’on apprend c’est que personne ne peut vous l’enlever.
Riley King, better known by his stage name of B.B. King, was born on a cotton plantation in the American state of Mississippi on the 16th September 1925. During the course of his life, King has cemented himself amongst some of the greats of the music industry, having being inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame and named by Rolling Stone magazine as the sixth greatest guitarist of all time with only great names such as Jimmy Hendrix, Eric Clapton and Jimmy Page beating him to top spot. King began to make his name as a singer and disc jockey on a small Memphis radio station, where in his early years he gained the nickname “Beale Street Blues Boy,” later shortened to become B.B. King.
